Do you feel like you’ve got what it takes to write for TechCritic? Are you passionate about Technology and Video Games? Want to write about your passion? Oh you do?! Then read on!


We’re looking to find a number of freelance, as well as permenant, writers to join the team who can provide articles and news updates for the community. The downside is that we can’t afford to pay you right now, TechCritic is completely non-profit. We’re not even making any money ourselves, we just love what we do! So, if you’re interested in volunteering your time to provide articles for TechCritic, then please fill out the contact form below. A response will be made within 48 hours.

Before applying for a job vacancy, please ensure that you have completed the following criteria;

  • Registered for the website.
  • Registered for the forum, as well.
  • You have provided at least one comment on an article of your choice.


I cannot stress enough that all positions are voluntary.
However, as a writer for TechCritic you will benefit in the following ways;

  • TechCritic email address, in the following style – yourchosenalias@techcritic.co.uk.
  • Unique group styling on the Forum, including unique features specific to VIP users.
  • Complete discretion regarding articles, attempting 1 submission per week.
  • References can be provided for committed writers. We’re happy to help you pad out your CV.
  • More substantial positions are available for those willing to show commitment to TechCritic.
